Pagode do Beto is a Brazilian musical group, led by Beto JC based in Ottawa/Gatineau. Primarily associated with the genre of pagode, a subgenre of samba music that originated in the late 20th century. Pagode, known for its vibrant rhythms and joyful melodies, blends elements of traditional samba with more contemporary influences.
Pagode do Beto, is widely recognized in the local Brazilian music scene for contributing to the popularity of pagode music, especially within local communities and in smaller musical circuits. The group will perform a repertoire made up of the most beloved rhythms of the genre, often featuring themes of love, celebration, and daily life—common topics in samba and pagode.
DJ DANM has been djing since 2017 when he started organizing Brazilian Zouk events. Since then DJ DANM has organized and performed in several Brazilian and Latin events as well as private parties.
