Our Team

 Three born-and-raised Brazilians found themselves in Ottawa and shared the challenges and wonderment of arriving and establishing themselves in a new country. Through Saravah – established in August 2023 – the team supports newly arrived Brazilians with settlement support in the national capital. Claudia Balladelli, Silvia Saraiva and Malu Anastacio are at the forefront of this nonprofit organization focused on presenting culturally diverse events rooted in Brazilian heritage, customs, and lifestyle. They are committed to curating an amazing journey into Brazil’s art, cultures, traditions, and cuisine.
